At 227 GSM the fabric carries a firm, supportive hand-feel rather than a soft drape, and the 136 CM cuttable width suits narrow marker layouts for fitted garments. The mint tone is applied through exhaust dyeing with shade control aimed at repeat-order consistency. The rib architecture provides visible surface direction, making the fabric suitable for both structural panels and exposed trim applications where rib texture is part of the design language.

Elastic Modulus

Relaxation: Allow 24 hours of open relaxation. Rib knits carry internal tension that releases after unrolling, changing panel dimensions if cut too early.

Press: Steam from distance; avoid pressing the rib face flat with an iron. Compressed rib crests do not recover and leave permanent shine marks.

Wash: Cold machine wash, no chlorine bleach. Nylon yellows under prolonged chlorine exposure, which is visible on pastel mint shades.

Does the rib width change after the first wash?

Rib knits typically relax in width and recover in length after the first laundering. Production should be cut with allowance for this behavior, or garments should be washed before final measurement. Confirm against your wash standard during sampling.

Can mint shade be matched across repeat orders?

Pastel shades require tighter dye bath control than deep tones. Retain a physical shade standard at first order and confirm it against each subsequent lot. Minor tonal drift is possible with nylon substrates, so approval under the intended lighting condition is advised.

Is this rib appropriate for chlorine pool environments?

Nylon has limited chlorine resistance over extended exposure. For frequent pool use, chlorine-resistant finishing or an alternative fiber base should be evaluated. For occasional swim use, the rib performs within normal expectations.

Why is the width limited to 136 CM?

Rib knitting at this compact gauge and 227 GSM produces a narrower greige width than flat jersey. The 136 CM cuttable width is the standard for this construction and supports fitted markers rather than wide-panel layout.

Can the rib be used as a standalone garment body?
