The peaching process mechanically raises surface fibers, creating a micro-nap that reduces skin friction while maintaining the inherent moisture-wicking properties of polyester. The dark green pigmentation is achieved through disperse dyeing with UV-resistant formulation.

◈ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ◈

▶ Does the peached surface flatten after washing?

The brushed surface compresses by 5-8% after the first 10 wash cycles. Washing inside out and air drying preserves nap height. Tumble drying accelerates flattening and is not recommended.

▶ How does dark green color hold up under sunlight?

The disperse dye formulation includes UV stabilizers. Color retention remains at 85-90% after 80 hours of xenon arc exposure. Prolonged direct sunlight should be avoided for storage.

▶ Is this fabric suitable for sublimation printing?

Yes. The 88% polyester content accepts sublimation inks at 190-200°C for 45-60 seconds. The peached surface produces a slightly diffused image compared to smooth polyester.

▶ What is the shrinkage rate after laundering?

Shrinkage measures 2-3% in warp direction and 1-2% in weft direction after standard laundering at 30°C. Pre-washing before cutting is recommended for critical dimension applications.
