How does the twill texture affect garment drape?

The diagonal line structure creates directional flexibility, allowing the fabric to drape differently along the twill lines compared to standard jersey. This provides a more structured silhouette while maintaining comfort. The effect is most noticeable in skirts and tailored tops.

What is the recommended care for Tencel-nylon blend?

Wash at 30°C on gentle cycle with mild detergent. Tencel fibers are sensitive to high agitation. Air drying is preferred; tumble dry low if necessary. Avoid chlorine bleach which degrades both Tencel and Spandex components.

Does the twill texture flatten after washing?

The twill effect is mechanically set during knitting and is permanent. Washing does not flatten the texture. However, ironing on the face side may reduce the diagonal line definition. Always iron on the reverse side to preserve the surface texture.

Is this fabric suitable for printing applications?

The twill texture creates a slightly uneven surface that may affect print sharpness. Discharge printing works best on this fabric. Direct screen printing may show minor texture interference. Test printing recommended before production.
